I originally met Jason & Kim at the Bride and Groom Show. I did something I never usually do at shows and spoke out loudly to them as they were shuffling past my stall and asked them if they needed a wedding photographer (or something to that effect). They responded and came over to my stall and we hit it off and the rest is history.

Jason & Kim had their ceremony and reception at  the stunning wedding venue Cassels. I love photographing at this venue because it gives us photographers so many different angles and backdrops from which to create beautiful images for our clients. After the ceremony we headed for Bethells Beach and did a wee forest stop too. It was a wonderful day and gorgeous wedding for such a lovely couple.  I’m so grateful I had this opportunity to capture your wedding day! I look forward to creating your Queensberry wedding album.  😀

I originally met Zoe & Ethan at the Landsendt open day a year and a half ago now. Annually Landsendt has an open day to encourage couples to come and view there incredible location. It really is such a special place that is very much hidden and obviously the visit to Landsendt was a big hit for Zoe & Ethan too as they wanted their ceremony and reception there and why wouldn’t you?? The weather forecast was due to deliver some rain and just when we thought we had dodged the bullet it came but fortunately we had just finished the family photos and then it bucketed down but it didn’t last and we got back out there and made the most of the clear skies while we could. Enjoy  😀

I originally met Jennifer and Tim at a friends wedding (Cheryln & Jared) that I was photographing. It’s always great when perspective couples see me in action at a wedding and like how I respect and interact with people and obviously like the photos I created from their friends wedding too. Jennifer and Tim’s wedding was held at the bottom of the Kauri Steps at Cornwall Park. It’s a very private part of the park and being the perfect day was a perfect location for their wedding. We captured a few quick shots at Cornwall Park and then headed for French Bay for a few more bridal party photos. Their wedding reception  was held at Elevation Cafe out west on Scenic Drive. Enjoy  😀

A few years back now I worked at Ogilvy advertising company and I was a photographer in their photo studio. At the same time Chris was also working there which is how we originally met.  I haven’t ever had the opportunity to photograph any weddings in Whangaparaoa before but after this wedding I would love to shoot some more. It’s quiet, beautiful and the beaches are to die for….there are just so many great locations for photos.  It was a real pleasure to be able to capture your special day Chris and Cindy.  You were both brilliant to work with and I look forward to making your album. 😀

I was fortunate enough to start off this wedding season capturing my cousin Alex and his then fiance Ririra’s wedding in Otorohanga. This was a new experience for me as the wedding started with a powhiri to welcome all families to the Marae. It was an amazing experience to be a part of this momentous occasion and to capture as many moments as I could. This was not a typical wedding in that it was a wedding of two communities that came together and worked so hard to make this day so special for Alex and Riria. This wedding was not purchased with money but it was showered with love from  so many members of this wonderful community. It really was a priviledge to be a part of. 😀
