Peppers on the Point is a stunning wedding venue that requires a little exploration to fully appreciate all of it’s beauty. Mark & Olja (whom for the record are Auckland Based) also fell in love with this stunning wedding venue and decided that was where they would get married. This was my first Rotorua based wedding and my first at Peppers on the Point so I came to visit a couple of weeks prior to make sure I would capture all the locations that I felt would make Mark & Olja’s day so special. I have to say that you are both such a lovely couple and it was a pleasure being there to capture your special day 😀

Gavin & Sam had a picture perfect day for their wedding and they chose one of the cutest church’s I have ever seen. St Andrew’s church in Matakana is a wee gem and for me it’s quite exciting to photograph a church wedding as they are quite rare this day and age. With beautiful light pouring in through the windows and a couple that were so expressively happy it was lovely to be the photographer that was there to capture their special day. Enjoy 😀

On March 14th I captured Hayley and Steve’s special day at the Northridge Country Lodge. I have only ever photographed one other wedding here so I was really looking forward to capturing some fresh and new images. I have to say that I had an absolute blast capturing your wedding day. You are both such lovely, caring people and it’s reflected in all your friends and family. It was a special day with a lot of love and laughter and I enjoyed being there to capture it for you both. Enjoy 😀

Abby & Carl had stunning weather for their beautiful wedding in Cornwall Park. They set up their         ceremony to the left of the Kauri Steps under a huge oak tree which was a perfect spot and out of the lime light….well as much as possible:) I captured all their location photos at Cornwall Park and used some different locations that I thought would better suit their style and class. Enjoy:)

I orginally met Natalie at the Grand Wedding Show some 2 seasons ago now. I was standing in the coffee line before the doors had officially opened and started chatting to her thinking she was an exhibitor….”I can’t believe how many women are here already…What’s the rush to be here so early..?” I said. “What stall are you working at?”…..”I’m actually one of those bride’s to be actually”…and that’s how we got talking. What better place to expose yourself than a coffee line:)

Natalie & Tom had their wedding day at the stunning Settlers Country Manor. I love photographing weddings at this venue. You have your ceremony (2 x indoor and 2 x outdoor options available) all your family and bridal party location photos here and your reception too. It becomes a wonderful experience for your family and friends because they don’t need to go anywhere and it’s the same experience for a bride and groom because it’s a smooth transition from one part of the day to the next.

On the day the weather wasn’t quite what we had in mind but we had a great day and captured some beautiful moments. Enjoy:)
