I’m doing a little catch up on some engagement sessions that I really want to share. With Sarah and Eric’s engagement session we headed to Woodhill Forest during the week for a peaceful session on a beautiful day. They were both amazing to work with and were completely themselves and together we produced some images I really love. Enjoy:)
In this instance Jon & Christine wanted to introduce me to a new and exciting location they had often visited in Oratia. It was a perfect location that was surrounded by bush and trees with clearings as well as a beautiful beach that was rich with colour and texture. We are so blessed to have these wonderful untouched environments in West Auckland. You do have to make a little effort to get there and once you arrive you can hear yourself think and soak in these stunning vistas that we should not take for granted.
Getting back to our engagement session…..It was a very relaxed shoot and you were both so in the moment and at one with this location. I love what we captured together and I’m really looking forward to capturing your wedding in Febraury:)
With Anne & David’s engagement session we decided to keep it local and headed to Craigavon Park for a little taste of the forest there. There are so many great spots to make use of once you get off the beaten track. I had a great time capturing you both and I know come your wedding day in December that we are going to have a great day together capturing all the important moments. Enjoy these highlights:)
A few weeks ago I was due to photograph a wedding at the stunning wedding venue Landsendt. The weather forecast wasn’t looking to good so I needed a definite Plan B just in case. In doing so I found the most gorgeous location in Oratia. As soon as I discovered it I was so excited and couldn’t wait to use it. Well at last that chance came with John & Beka’s engagement session. As well as having an amazing private space to create John & Beka were fantastic to photograph. I am so looking forward to your wedding in June:)
Ross and I used to play basketball along side eachother…..a few years ago now. So it was a nice surprise when Ross got in touch with me and really just wanted to get a really nice portrait of them both. I suggested we go out for a type of engagement session at a location, but without the engagement. On the day of the shoot I was surprised to find out that in fact they had become engaged in between emails so it was quite a special shoot in deed. Enjoy 😀
