MIT have re-branded and a part of that is re-branding process was to create a new feel and look through for all the departments through the creation of images that show what really takes place in the class situation. I love this “fly on the wall” approach photographically as these images are real moments of students being involved in their development within this learning environment. You have to be quick and responsive and try to be in the best spot when these moments occur.

Paul Jobin is not only a fantastic chef but a hell of nice guy. In conjunction with Sealord he was doing a cooking presentation for various clients and to create some positive PR. A fun morning was had by all and the food was to die for. Yes even the photographer got to have a wee taste:)
Recently I had the opportunity to photograph some presentations that Corporate Culture was holding on their stunning premises. I captured their guests and guest speakers from Scandinavia that were rich in information and ideas within their given approach to design.
Through my friend Ross I was given the opportunity to photograph portraits of the NZ Paralympic Swimming team just after they had completed a morning during training session. They were heading off to Montreal for the world champs and needed some current individual portraits for their main sponsor Speedo. Unfortunately official NZ uniforms hadn’t been issued at this stage. Regardless I found a suitable space to set up my lights, do some tests and fire away in between each athlete getting a much needed bit of breakfast. Enjoy 😀
Last year I had the pleasure of working on a year long project capturing portraits of graduates from MIT. It’s always great to see students that have excelled during their years of study at MIT but to also prosper in their chosen field as professionals also. 😀 Jeremy
